Cairns ADF members, partners and families, we welcome you to join us at our fortnightly social group for expectant parents and Defence bubs.
Are you on maternity / paternity leave and feeling disconnected? Are you struggling being a new parent? Do you just want to get out of the house and spend time with others and have some fun with your little one?
Please come along to Bubs and Bellies on the Base hosted by the Cairns DMFS team. We'll read books, sing songs and chat in a very relaxed setting.
Serving members are also welcome to join their spouse and because we know how hard it is to get time away from work to attend these types of activities, we’ve brought the event to them!
The choice is up to you when you're able to attend - register to come along just one day/date at a time or multiple - whatever suits you!
As this event will be on board HMAS Cairns you will either need to have your own Defence pass or DMFS can sign you in. Please also ensure you have completed the base induction before arriving.
When registering for a ticket, please get one for each person attending and provide your contact details (mobile number and home address).
If you or someone in your family are feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms on the day (fever/chills/cough/fatigue), please stay at home. If you display flu-like symptoms at the event, our staff will kindly ask you to return home and seek medical advice.
