The role of Arts & Culture Maribyrnong is to enhance, preserve and develop arts and cultural practices unique to the people, landscapes and history of this community. In every alleyway of Naarm, you can find gems that have been hidden away from main streets. Amplify: BRIDGE invites audiences to sample sparkling new perspectives, by presenting an artistic link between experiences and cultures. This performing arts event offers a tasting platter of emerging voices from the West and beyond, through a collective of specialised practitioners supported by L2R Dance’s <a href="https://www.l2r.org.au/igniting-legends" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Igniting Legends</a> program.The guest curators’ celebration of Hip-Hop culture will be filtered through the lens of the artists’ respective communities, and will feature dance, spoken word, and music. Artists will offer a glimpse of their niche artistic roots in this accessible offering to audiences, creating a bridge between all.
