The Amazing Race – Waste and Recycling Edition!
Solve the clues and get to the next checkpoint. Learn about the reducing waste and recycling in Bunbury as well as general fitness and nutrition in a fun and interactive way. Your mission is to figure out each of the clues provided to get to each check point where you will receive your next clue - until you finally make your way to the end point for lunch.
The first team across the finish line with a completed check point sheet wins the race and will receive a prize hamper to take home and enjoy!
Danae Cornford from HappyWhenFit Bunbury will be running the event. Danae is a School Teacher, personal trainer and holistic health coach. HappyWhenFit is an Australian community health program designed to educate, inspire and empower people with the tools to be the healthiest and happies version of themselves.
Funding for this event is has been provided by the Waste Authority WA through a Waste Sorted Community Grant.

IMPORTANT NOTES & CONDITIONS* Spaces are limited and bookings are essential.
* Open to all ages and abilities - families of all ages are welcome to join the fun! Please complete a booking for each attending person (regardless of age).
* A parent or guardian over the age of 18yrs is required to participate and/or supervise each attending child.* Participants are required to bring 1 x backpack/suitable bag (per team) to carry items that will be given to you throughout this activity.
* Please bring a water bottle. Drinking water will be available at the library and Anzac Park.
* Attendees are encouraged to wear a hat and sunscreen.
* The nutrition / lunch part of this program has been designed to allow for different age groups and abilities (4-9yrs and 10-15yrs). Please let us know when booking if your child has any food allergies.
* Amazing Race starts at the Bunbury Library and ends at a location in CDB for lunch. Participating in the race will require walking/running to various check points within the Bunbury CBD area. It is essential a parent and/or guardian participate and/or supervise attending children in this event.
