Alumni Event: LinkedIn Workshop with Sue Ellson

Join Sue Ellson at this Monash Business School Alumni Networking event to find out how to maximise impact with LinkedIn and get your professional LinkedIn photo taken by a photographer.

Monash Business School alumni are invited a complimentary LinkedIn workshop on Thursday 14 June by Sue Ellson, Independent LinkedIn Specialist and the author of “120 Ways To Achieve Your Purpose with LinkedIn”. In addition, photographer Chris Sprott will be available on the night to take professional photos for your LinkedIn profile.

Is it time to get serious about your online brand? When was the last time you updated your LinkedIn Profile? Have you really used it as a strategic tool for your professional career or business life? Everyone knows that if you Google someone’s name, if they have a LinkedIn Profile, it is likely to come up on the first page of Google Search Results.

Maximise your LinkedIn impact and learn:

. How to tailor LinkedIn for your purpose (beyond job search and networking)

. How to measure whether LinkedIn is working for you or not (ROI measurement)

. How to showcase your Monash University background (build your brand and keep learning)

Sue will also answer your individual questions, such as who should you connect to and should you pay for Premium. Special resources will also be sent to attendees after the event.

In addition, get your professional LinkedIn photo taken on the night by Chris Sprott. Chris runs ProfileBooth, a professional headshot service for online profiles such as LinkedIn, Google+, company websites and intranets.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for you to interact with other alumni, make connections and put your best foot forward with your revamped online brand.

Registration and networking starts from 5:30pm with a selection of drinks and canapés being served on arrival. Places are limited and available only to recent Monash Business School alumni starting out on their career journey (1-5 years since graduatation), due to limited availability friends and colleagues can not participate in this event.
