Alpha Box & Dice + Pizzateca Present SLICE & DICE
Event Information
Description
Longtime friends Alpha Box & Dice and Pizzateca know how to party.
Following from 2016's outrageously successful Alpha Pizza Box & Dice events, the two McLaren Vale neighbours join forces once again for a one-day festival – SLICE & DICE – offering two venues with two different party experiences.
PIZZATECA will be cranking out their famous, hand-made, wood-fired pizzas along with a disco soundtrack provided by top live DJs Driller, D-Luxe and international DJ, LUKE MILLION.
You may know Luke Million from his song 'Arnold', sampling Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the remix of the 80s synth inspird theme from Netflix's Stranger Things, starring Winona Ryder. Luke Million just completed a national tour with Client Liaison, US tour with Hayden James and will be at Splendour In the Grass before heading back to New York. Don't miss this unique opportunity to see a down in McLaren Vale, playing amongst the vines at Pizzateca.
ALPHA BOX & DICE will be pouring out their famous Alphabet of Wine, along with live music featuring some of SA's top musos, including hit cover band The Uptown Seeds (including members of Jimmy & The Mirrors and Cosmo Thundercat), DJs from YEWTH Mag and food by Tiger Mountain.

FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes. This is an 18+ only event.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We prefer you take the provided return buses, which are included in every ticket. This includes your return trip and transfers. If you do live closer to McLaren Vale than the city, then you can:
- Be dropped off at the first venue.
- Take our transfer to the second venue.
- Be picked up from the second venue.
OR
- Take the bus back to town to kick on with our afterparty at Frome St Warehouse.
Please note there is no parking on either site and we ask that you let us know if you're taking this option so we know not to expect you on the buses in the morning.
Any more questions? Email i@alphaboxdice.com and we'll help you out.
You must take the provided return buses in order to gain entry. Transport for the day is included in the ticket price. No private vehicles will be allowed parking on-site and no ticket holders will be permitted entry unless they are a part of the provided bus groups.
For any questions regarding transport, please contact AB&D at i@alphaboxdice.com
What can I bring into the event?
You are not permitted to bring outside food or drink onto the sites. No BYO chairs or furniture permitted. Each person may bring in a factory-sealed bottle of water. Security may subject ticket holders to bag searches upon entry.
I want to buy tickets with friends, how do we make sure we are on the same session?
To ensure you are on the same session as your friends, you must book the same ticket type, ensuring that the name of the ticket is in order of the venues that the bus visits. For example, if you want to visit Pizzateca first and then AB&D, you must all purchase the 'Pizzateca > AB&D' type ticket. All groups are encouraged to purchase tickets together to avoid disappointment, as tickets to each site are limited due to licensing restrictions.
What if I want to refund or swap my ticket?
In the case that you need to refund or swap your ticket for another session, please contact i@alphaboxdice.com. Any refunds are at the discretion of the organisers. As a rule of thumb, treat your tickets like cash and that all ticket purchases are final.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
For questions about the event, please contact AB&D via email on i@alphaboxdice.com
