Join us for a free guided tour at one of our WA mining and refining operations.

Since 1978, Alcoa has offered tours of its WA operations, where people can see how bauxite is mined and then refined in alumina, before it is transformed into aluminium – an important ingredient in everyday life and a green energy future.

These family-friendly tours offer the opportunity to:

• View mining operations up close
• Visit areas under rehabilitation
• Travel through an operating refinery
• Have your questions answered

During school holidays our tours are geared towards children.

Long pants (no cropped pants), long sleeves and closed-in, sturdy shoes are mandatory. If not adhered to, you will be unable to join the tour .

• Tuesday 24 February 2026 - 9.30am to 1.30 pm
• Wednesday 11 March 2026 - 12.00 to 4.00 pm
• Tuesday 31 March 2026 - 12.00 pm to 4.00 pm
• Wednesday 8 April 2026 - 9.30am to 1.30 pm

Please note - the Tours Team do not work on Fridays.

When booking, please provide the names of each individual ticket holder, including children.

Please be advised that Parent/Guardian supervision for children under the age of 16 is mandatory. We require a minimum of one adult per two children for public tours.

Tours may be cancelled due to weather/road conditions, unforeseen site closures/emergencies and low tour registrations.
