AKMAL

Mount Isa Civic Centre

Egyptian born, Australian stand-up comedian, actor, voice over artist, author and writer.

Akmal returns after a spiritual journey to India to find himself. Unfortunately, when he got there, he couldn’t see himself anywhere, after all India is a big place. On his return to Australia, he was pleased to discover he had been here the entire time. This has absolutely nothing to do with his upcoming show, and he’s sorry he mentioned it. Stand-up, movies, sketch, TV appearances, radio DJ, talk show host and a published author, Akmal is one of Australia’s most respected, successful and accomplished comics. Lightning quick and a master of unscripted comedy gold, Akmal has an incredible ability to deal with hot topics in an hilarious and slightly offensive way. As Seen on Thank God You’re Here, Have You Been Paying Attention?, Just For Laughs and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala. 'Akmal's strength is his stream-of-consciousness ramblings and his interaction with the audience.' The Age 'Akmal is an explosion of laughter and entertainment.' Telegraph Mirror The age rating 15+No babes in arms permitted. <a href="https://aus01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.alist.com.au%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7Ccivic.manager%40mountisa.qld.gov.au%7C9d2b56a5eef44d7fe9b608dd5785a442%7C866deb2bc22f4d44942fd3675866818d%7C0%7C0%7C638762953708847411%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=KPCE7dy0aUZ5KvRJaUyL%2BqfC1P6YwPUFtGCWV9fJQ8w%3D&amp;reserved=0" title="https://aus01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.alist.com.au%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7Ccivic.manager%40mountisa.qld.gov.au%7C9d2b56a5eef44d7fe9b608dd5785a442%7C866deb2bc22f4d44942fd3675866818d%7C0%7C0%7C638762953708847411%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=KPCE7dy0aUZ5KvRJaUyL%2BqfC1P6YwPUFtGCWV9fJQ8w%3D&amp;reserved=0" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">www.alist.com.au</a><a href="https://aus01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.akmal.com.au%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7Ccivic.manager%40mountisa.qld.gov.au%7C9d2b56a5eef44d7fe9b608dd5785a442%7C866deb2bc22f4d44942fd3675866818d%7C0%7C0%7C638762953708870638%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=6qDYDsqzj5a1KMHifo1QbDhymFgKxEIwJlSh3GdUzDM%3D&amp;reserved=0" title="https://aus01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.akmal.com.au%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7Ccivic.manager%40mountisa.qld.gov.au%7C9d2b56a5eef44d7fe9b608dd5785a442%7C866deb2bc22f4d44942fd3675866818d%7C0%7C0%7C638762953708870638%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=6qDYDsqzj5a1KMHifo1QbDhymFgKxEIwJlSh3GdUzDM%3D&amp;reserved=0" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">www.akmal.com.au</a>
