Air & Space Speaker Series - Andrew Neely - The Science of (Very) High Spee...
Event Information
Description
Join Associate Professor Andrew Neely from UNSW Canberra for the second instalment in the Questacon Air & Space Speaker Series. Andrew will be giving an exciting presentation about the Science of (Very) High Speed Flight!
In just over 113 years we have developed from a world where powered, controlled flight was the stuff of dreams to a time where regular supersonic flight, space tourism and interplanetary exploration, long the stuff of science fiction, is now a reality. Andrew will be talking about both some recent achievements in ground-based research and flight-testing and some of the challenges that lie ahead.
Attend this event and receive a complimentary single entry into Questacon. Visit during opening hours before 23 July 2017 and explore the blockbuster aviation and aerospace exhibition – Above and Beyond presented by Boeing.
This event is suitable for ages 14 and above.
