Event Timeline

Application & Screening (From 1 December, 2023)

• Entrepreneurs submit their business plans, product demos, or prototypes.
• A panel of judges selects the most promising teams.

Mentorship (2024 April Week 1-2)

• Teams refine their pitches and demonstrations through online webinars, workshops, and one-on-one mentor sessions.
• Chosen teams present their pitches and demos online.
• Judges select the finalists.

Preparation & Additional Mentorship (From April Week 3)

• Teams prepare for the grand finale with additional mentoring and feedback.

Hackathon Review

Web3 Hackathon includes two hackathon events: Web3 Uni Hackathon and Web3 Hackathon. As par t of the Web3 Convention, W3C hosted a web3 uni hackathon for students and a web3 Hackathon for professionals from Aug 18h to Aug 19, 2023, with over $50k in grants and prizes

We encouraged web3 innovations and revolutionary advancements. We gathered great minds from the border web 3 space through on-site and online participation. Furthermore, mentors from universities, blockchain enterprises, and ventures will be invited.
