AI for Health Care Innovation - Concept Design Workshop

Overview

Are you ready to bridge the gap between healthcare challenges and AI solutions?

Are you ready to bridge the gap between healthcare challenges and AI solutions?

As part of the WSTI AI Summit and Hackathon (10-12 April), we’re hosting an interactive, hands-on workshop focused on the future of Health Care innovation in Australia. In this interactive 2.5-hour session, participants will use elements of the Design Thinking Double Diamond approach to move from broad Health Care challenges to focused, buildable AI, Automation or App concepts. Teams will explore key pain points or frictions, refine a clear problem statement, and identify potential AI-enabled solutions suitable for rapid prototyping.

What to Expect:

In this 2.5-hour deep dive, we’ll use the Design Thinking Double Diamond approach to:

  • Discover & Define: Identify real-world pain points and frictions within the Australian healthcare system.
  • Develop & Deliver: Move from broad challenges to focused AI, Automation, or App concepts.
  • Rapid Prototyping Prep: Refine a clear problem statement and set an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) direction.

By the end of the night, you won’t just have an idea—you’ll have a hackathon-ready concept. Each team will have a clear problem statement and identify potential AI-enabled solutions suitable for rapid prototyping at the WSTI Hackathon on 10-12 April.

Who is this for?

  • AI Enthusiasts & Makers: Apply your skills to high-impact, real-world problems.
  • Health Care Professionals: Share your expertise and help design tools that actually work for your industry.
