Against The Wind Charity Ride

Against The Wind Charity Ride

Overview

A 350km ride across the Northern Rivers, one kilometre for every domestic violence call made to Police in NSW each day.

A Fully Supported Ride With Purpose

The Against the Wind Challenge is more than a cycling event, it’s a fully supported, community-driven ride with a powerful mission.

Your $250 rider ticket covers everything you need to focus on the ride, connect with great people, and know you’re making a genuine impact.

What Your $250 Rider Ticket Includes

Fully Supported Overnight Camps

Each night of the Against the Wind Challenge, riders will roll into a pre-arranged campsite, organised by the event team.

  • Your swag or tent is transported for you each day
  • No need to carry camping gear on the bike
  • Dedicated overnight locations for riders
  • Time to recover, eat, and connect with fellow cyclists

You ride light. We handle the logistics.

Hot Breakfasts Provided Daily

Every morning, riders are welcomed with a hot, hearty breakfast, proudly prepared by Rotary volunteers.

  • Proper fuel before long days in the saddle
  • Tea, coffee, and breakfast essentials included
  • Community support from start to finish

Because big rides deserve a proper start.

Safety, Traffic & Road Support

Rider safety is our highest priority.

Your entry includes:

  • Dedicated safety and traffic support vehicles
  • On-road assistance throughout the event
  • Support crews monitoring riders across all stages

You’re never riding alone, help is always nearby.

Friday Night Charity Auction & Entertainment

Your rider ticket also includes entry to the Friday night charity auction at the Eltham Hotel.

  • Live entertainment
  • Charity auction supporting DV Safe Phones and NAPCAN
  • A chance to connect with riders, supporters, and sponsors
