About this event

Affordable Art Fair is excited to return in 2024 to Australia’s cultural capital, Melbourne.

Showcasing a selection of galleries from across Australia, the fair will feature a mixture of artworks by emerging to established artists all within the price range of $100 - $10,000. Whether you’re a lover of landscapes, smitten with sculpture or an adorer of abstracts, we’re sure you’ll find something to suit your taste, space and spend!


Opening Hours:

  • VIP Preview (by invitation only): Thursday 29 August: 12pm – 5pm

Public Opening Hours:

  • Opening Night: Thursday 29 August: 5pm – 9pm
  • Friday 30 August: 10am – 9pm
  • Saturday 31 August: 10am – 5pm
  • Sunday 1 September: 10am – 5pm



Notes:

  1. If you have received a VIP invitation but cannot attend on Thursday, you can use the same invitation to attend the fair 30th August, 31st August, and 1st September 2024.
  2. Children under 16 are free to enter (without a ticket) the fair with a paying adult.
  3. Please note that refunds and exchanges are not available for this event. However, in the event that the fair is postponed, we will be rolling over tickets to the new dates and accepting refund requests. If the event is cancelled we will refund you.
  4. If you're planning to bring a tour group through, please get in touch with us at australia@affordableartfair.com prior.
  5. Our venue the Royal Exhibition Building conveniently located in Carlton and easily accessible by car and public transport options.
  6. Tickets to the fair are not refundable.

What are the best ways to get to the fair? Is there parking at the fair?

Parking is located under Melbourne Museum, the car park is open 7 days a week from 5.30am to midnight daily. Enter via Rathdowne Street or Nicholson Street. Pricing is variable. Our venue can also be reached by tram, train, bus and bike options.

Is Affordable Art Fair fully accessible for people with reduced mobility?

Yes, Affordable Art Fair Melbourne is fully accessible for to people with reduced mobility. The fair is located on the ground floor of the venue, with step-free access.

Do Disability Carers need a specific ticket type?

Disability carers do not require a separate ticket from the attendee. Please let our staff at the ticket desk or entrance know that you are a companion or carer and you will be escorted through the entrance.

Does the fair offer a free on-site wrapping service for purchased artworks?

Yes, we will be offering a free on-site wrapping service for all your purchased artworks so you can take it home and enjoy straight away.

Will I be photographed or filmed during my visit?
