ADF Member & Resident Family Event: Child of the ADF Medallion - Darwin

ADF families in the Darwin region, nominate your child/ren to receive a Child of the ADF Medallion.

NOTE: This event is only for the children of Australian Defence Force members.

The Child of the ADF Medallion (CoADFM) will be presented to children who have shown resilience and growth in managing the challenges of the ADF lifestyle. Participation in the Child of the ADF Medallion Program is open to all Defence resident family children aged 18 years and under of current serving (SERCAT 3-7 and SERVOP C) ADF members, who have experienced one or more of the following;

• Managing a relocation

• Connecting to a new community following relocation

• Managing a lengthy absence or frequent absences of the ADF family member due to service requirements

• Absence of ADF member due to short notice posting, deployment or exercise

You should carefully read the following information to ensure you are aware of all the requirements relating to this event. Event details may be updated and differ from previous DMFS events you have registered for.

• Each eligible participant may only receive one CoADFM during member’s service.
• When registering for the program, you must register for a ticket for each eligible child you are nominating to receive a Medallion Ensure correct email address has been registered as any updates and changes relating to this event will be sent to this email.
• If you or someone in your family are feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms on the day of the event, please stay at home.
• A photographer will be in attendance at this event. If you or your family do not wish to be photographed let the photographer know. Any photos taken may be used in publications, online or on social media.
• If you are no longer able to attend the event, please cancel your booking by clicking on the link in your confirmation email ‘View and manage your order online’. This takes you to your ‘Tickets’ page where you can choose the ‘Cancel my Order’ option to release the tickets back to the event listing.
