Description

Proudly sponsored by ASC Shipbuilding-Austal

with special guest speakers

The Hon Julie Bishop MP, Minister for Foreign Affairs

and the Hon Simon Birmingham, Minister for Education and Training.

With global events dominating the headlines, the management of Australia’s Foreign Affairs portfolio has never been more complex or consuming. In her role as Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop has been at the forefront of discussions on the international stage.

As Senator for South Australia, Simon Birmingham has been a major voice for our state in Canberra for a decade, most recently driving reform in education and training.

You are invited to join Adelaide’s business leaders on Friday 6 October, 2017 at the world-renowned Adelaide Oval to hear from these key Federal ministers as they discuss issues of state, national and global significance.

Your attendance will make a difference to the lives of people living in developing countries and Australia’s Indigenous communities. Money raised from this event will support the work of the Joanna Briggs Institute – another South Australian success story – in assisting disadvantaged communities in creating sustainable health care outcomes.

Bookings close 27 September 2017.

To purchase tickets over the phone please call Sandy Davis on 0422 319 135. Enquiries can also be directed to Sandy at sandy.davis@adelaide.edu.au
