Dear all,

The Adelaide JAMS is back on Wednesday 30 October 2019 from 6.30 onward at the WHEATSHEAF HOTEL . The event is free and please register HERE for catering purpose. Adelaide JAMS is hosted by Adelaide University, Flinders University and the University of South Australia and, we would love to see you all.

Final Program:

6. 30 - Welcome from the AdelaideJAMS team

6.30 – 6.45 pm – Dr Qi Yang, Flinders University. Unlocking the intracellular microbial endosymbionts of marine sponges for new drug discovery.

6.50 – 7.05 - Mr Benjamin Thwaites, SA Water and University of New South Wales. Application of Aerobic Granular Sludge in high saline wastewater treatment.

7.10 - 7.25 - Dr Alistair Standish, University of Adelaide. Bacterial Tyrosine Phosphorylation: novel antimicrobial drug target, and antibiotic resistance mechanism.

7.30 – 7.45 - Dr Bart Eijkelkamp, University of Adelaide. Bacterial adaptation strategies at the host-pathogen interface.
