Then our FREE 2024 Youth Leadership Program might be for you!


Gain important professional, transferable skills in our intensive series of 12 workshops:

* Effective Communication * Peer Consultation

* Goal Setting * Authentic Leadership

* Entrepreneurship * Events Management

* Manage Social Media professionally * Public Speaking

* Driving Social Change * Problem Solving

* Conflict and Negotiation * Activity Planning


The workshops are delivered by expert facilitators such as Rebekha Sharkie (MP for Mayo), Anne Bainbridge (YACSA), Colin Cameron (Greenwood Institute), Sasha Dragovelic (Futurepreneurs Launchpad), Nic Jones (MarketMe Marketing), Jane Wundersitz (Wundertraining), along with inspirational young mentors such as Sarah Freeman (Founder, Kids Arthritis), Rhys Jarrett (Adelaide Hills Council 2019 Young Citizen of the Year), Mikayla Schwarz (2021 participant and Recipient of Adelaide Hills Council Civic Award) and others.

You will be involved in the organisation and running of Council Youth Development events and programs including SA Youth Week 2023, the annual Year 12 Support Program, and more!

This FREE program requires an initial commitment of 3 hours per week for the workshops and then 2 hours per fortnight for the remainder of the program where the group will develop and run events or programs of their choice to benefit the Adelaide Hills community.

Upon registration for the 2024 YLP you will receive an email containing a more detailed program overview and a registration form, so make sure to check your inbox and spam folders. Please make sure to return your form by Monday 20 March 2024 for a Wednesday 03 April 2024 program start. Your successful registration will be confirmed by Friday 27 March 2024.
