RED HEN SPIRITS Masterclass

Red Hen Spirits is a family-owned distillery located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD. Founded by the Vallelonga brothers, Michael, Daniel, Anthony, and their lifelong friend Luke Page.


Join founder and craft distiller Anthony Vallelonga on a tasteful journey of their award winning Red Hen Gins paired with Long Rays tonics.

Distilled in small batches with Aussie passion in the traditional London Dry Style. Their signature dry Red Hen uses a copper column still to delicately infuse the alcohol as it passes through the hand picked botanics. Local flora has created something quite unique in Red Hen. Native Muntrie Berries, local citrus and peppercorn amongst other ingredients give it a vibrant, crisp flavour.

Embark on a journey of taste and discovery with the Great Ocean Road Gin Masterclass, now coming to Adelaide! Proudly the first gin created along the stunning Great Ocean Road, Great Ocean Road Gin is more than a spirit – it's a celebration of the natural beauty that surrounds us.


Taking pride in sourcing local botanicals from the bountiful indigenous backyard we call home. Many of the botanicals are handpicked from the expansive landscapes that define the Great Ocean Road, ensuring a truly authentic and unique flavour profile.


Join us in Adelaide as we bring the spirit of the Great Ocean Road to life through an immersive and unforgettable gin masterclass experience hosted by Kristin McKie and brought to you by Long Rays Tonics.


Kristin will also be giving a bottle of gin as a prize to a lucky participant!

Congratulations you have purchased tickets to the Adelaide Gin Festival!

If you are new to gin and feel that you would benefit from helpful information before you get to the festival then you are the right person for this PRE EVENT, INFORMATION TASTING SESSION.

The better informed you are when you arrive at the festival, your choices for tasting and purchases will be so much wiser. You can’t taste 250 gins so you need to taste the right ones, to suit you!

The Threefold Distiller Aidan, will take you through the tasting of four gins and explain what you are smelling (what is Juniper?)and tasting (What is acid?) and what do the alcohol percentages mean? He will explain why these gins differ and you will be able to decide which type of gin suits your palate. Classic? Sloe? London Dry? Matured? Flavoured? – what does all of this mean?

This will be held at Threefold Distilling 524 Anzac Hwy, Glenelg East, SA 5045 on Thursday June 6 at 6pm, for 1 hour. $40 per person.

Line up of 4 gins, held by the Distiller Aidan Shaw. Includes distillery tour and tasty foods to compliment the tastings.
