Adam Dowley

The June's session of the Adelaide Game Developer Talks is almost upon us. This time we will run on Wednesday the 19th.  We'll open the doors t 5:30 with talks starting at 6pm.
Venue: Game Plus Adelaide Time: Doors 5:30pm, talks 6pm Cost: Still free!
Exploring the Assets Store As game developers, we're all chasing the fleeting attention of million of fickle players looking for entertainment. What do we have to offer to each other, though? Dr Mike Cooper, programming teacher at AIE and our first returning presenter, discusses his plans and experiences of selling to other games developers, and looks at what the Unity Asset Store requires of its contributors. Alex Ferrabetta is the Environment and Graphic Artist at Melonhead Games and also works in marketing for UniSA. He will be talking about the importance of setting up a sustainable online presence through social media and your own website and also the foundations for marketing your business. Those both sound like really interesting and highly useful talks and should lead to some great discussion. I look forward to seeing you there.
