At one of our hands-on sessions, you'll use local roma tomatoes and learn the traditional techniques of authentic Italian tomato sauce making and of course you'll get to take home your very own jar of sauce!

Anyone who loves Italian culture will enjoy this fun workshop, and the classes are suitable for all ages and cooking abilities. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a supervising adult and should be included in the ticket of the adult attending.

Meet: Eastern Roadway, between Central Market Flowers & Angelakis. Bros Seafood, 10 minutes prior to class

Friday 13 March: 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Friday 13 March: 7:30pm - 8:30pm (this session ages 16+ only)
Saturday 14 March: 9am – 10am (this session ages 16+ only)
Saturday 14 March: 11am – 12pm
Saturday 14 March: 1pm – 2pm

Cost: $25 plus booking fee (bookings essential)

Includes: 1 hour of fun hands-on sauce making, jar of sauce to take home

Please note: Aprons will be provided. We recommend wearing old clothes, closed in shoes and long hair tied back. Please meet 10 minutes prior to class start time with freshly washed or sanitised hands.

In addition to sauce making, there will also be a range of free activities celebrating the vibrancy of Italian food and culture including kids charcoal sketching workshop, live music, roving entertainment and cooking demonstrations.
