This FREE training session is designed for Aged Care providers and staff.

Enjoy the Aboriginal cultural awareness training with Stuart McMinn.

At the end of this session participants will have an understanding and appreciation of:

  1. Welcome & Acknowledgement of Country practices and their importance,
  2. Songlines and how they connect all First Nations countries together,
  3. Language groups,
  4. Kinship Structures and how kinship influences relationships,
  5. Cultural Ceremony & Rites of Passage,
  6. Cultural respectful ways to work with First Nations People

Speaker: Stuart McMinn is a man from the Dharug and Gubbi Gubbi nations. Stuart is a cultural educator with 20years experience of assisting clients in developing their cultural knowledge and implementing cultural processes into their professional practice.

Stuart brings an array of expertise in the social welfare and not for profit sectors having worked in the sector as a senior manager for the last 10years. Stuart’s passion is in assisting practitioners to develop their cultural understanding and deepen their professional knowledge.
