Join us in Warrnambool, South West Victoria for the first AARN Conference of 2026
We’re thrilled to invite you to join us for an unforgettable event in Warrnambool, South West Victoria, on Tuesday and Wednesday , March 17th and 18th, 2026, Lady Bay Resort 2 Pertobe Road Warrnambool Victoria.
Get ready for two days of knowledge, networking, and inspiration!
Day One: We kick off the program with two exceptional facility tours, including the Bega Cheese processing facility in Koroit and the ProviCo milk processing facility at Dennington. These tours will provide valuable insight into the day-to-day operations of each business and the factors that contribute to the production of high quality products.
Delegates will be given the opportunity to visit both sites, with all registered participants assigned to one of two groups, Following a 75-minute induction and tour at each site, the groups will rotate to the alternate facility.
Delegates will depart from Lady Bay resort at 1:10 PM via a Bus.
Please arrive 10 minute prior to departure. All participants are to travel via the bus provided. No cars permitted.
Both groups will return to Lady Bay Resort by 5:00 PM.
In the evening, join us for a Formal Dinner, including a panel session on the dairy over beef markets.
Day Two: Start the morning with the AARN Committee at 6:30AM on a refreshing walk along the Lady Bay boardwalk—keep an eye out for the resident penguins!
After the walk, enjoy a delicious cooked breakfast at the Pavilions Café only a 5 mintue walk from the lady resort, at 7:30AM, complete with spectacular coastal views and the sight of thoroughbreds training along the beach. Then settle in as day two of conference presentations gets underway at the Lady Bay Resort. We’ve curated a diverse lineup of expert speakers eager to share their knowledge, research, and practical insights. This is an opportunity to gain valuable takeaways to apply in your professional life.

Join us for canapés and drinks before settling in for a delicious two-course dinner at Lady Bay Resort. During dinner, take in an engaging panel session led by Matt Bekker – Lallemand, as he explores the growing dairy-over-beef market and what it means for Australian markets. He’ll be joined by panellists Ian Sawyer – Feedworks, Vaughn Johnston – Semex, and Andy Hancock – Dairy Australia.
