A training and information session on cerebral palsy (and like conditions) and the use of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) systems for kindergarten teachers, daycare staff, inclusion support staff and volunteers - any adults who have responsibility for the education and care of a young child with cerebral palsy at their centre/kindergarten.
This session covers the use of augmentative and alternative communication with children. This session is for those staff working with children who use an alternative communication method to speech, or use other types of communication as well as speech.
Feedback from previous years indicates that this session is invaluable for people assisting and educating a child with a physical disability and/or complex communication need.
