This year-long series of hands-on workshops is designed to help participants grow food, cook delicious meals, and build community connections. Each session focuses on practical skills, seasonal activities, and sustainable living practices. From planning a productive garden to preserving harvests and learning kitchen crafts, participants will gain confidence and knowledge while enjoying a welcoming, collaborative environment.

7 Feb 2026 – Kick off the year with garden design, soil prep, composting, and planting seedlings. - Seed to Feed: Starting Seeds & Propagating Plants
7 Mar 2026 – Learn seed sowing, cuttings, and propagation techniques. Take home plants and seeds. - Compost in Action: Building Healthy Soil
4 Apr 2026 – Build a compost heap, explore worm farming and bokashi systems for nutrient cycling. - Harvest & Store: Intro to Lacto-Fermentation & Pickling
2 May 2026 – Harvest together and learn brining and vinegar pickling for seasonal produce. - Winter in the Kitchen: Say Cheese!
6 Jun 2026 – Make quick cheeses like ricotta, paneer, and mozzarella, flavored with garden herbs. - Winter in the Kitchen: Sourdough Baking 101
4 Jul 2026 – Learn sourdough basics from starter care to baking a perfect loaf. - Winter in the Kitchen: Gluten-Free Bread Making
1 Aug 2026 – Master two gluten-free bread styles and flour blends for delicious results. - Spring into Action: Building Wicking Beds
5 Sep 2026 – Construct water-wise wicking beds for dry climates. - Spring into Action #2: Companion Planting & Summer Veg
