A Seat at the Table — IWD Lunch for Women of Colour Entrepreneurs
Good food, real connections, and the beginning of something special. An IWD lunch for women of colour entrepreneurs in Western Sydney.
If you are a woman of colour from a migrant, refugee, or diaspora background building a business in Greater Western Sydney, this lunch is for you.
Join us for an International Women's Day celebration where you will sit down with other women of colour entrepreneurs who understand your journey. Share a meal, share stories, and be part of something that's been growing quietly through research, talking circles, and a whole lot of heart.
This is where The Saffron Sisters Collective begins, a space for connection, shared learning, and building businesses grounded in cultural identity.
We're honoured to welcome Hon Dr Andrew Charlton MP, Federal Member for Parramatta, and Mr James Jegasothy, Deputy CEO of Multicultural NSW.
Who This Event Is For
Women of colour entrepreneurs at any stage — just starting, growing, or pivoting. It's also for allies who want to learn, connect, and stand alongside women of colour in business.
Getting There
By Train (Recommended): Parramatta Station is a 5-minute walk from the venue.
By Car: No parking on campus, but Westfield Parramatta offers the first 4 hours free with their app (~5-minute walk). More details will be sent closer to the event
