About this event

The McCusker Centre for Citizenship Alumni Committee are excited to bring together experts and community leaders for a panel discussion on one of the most significant constitutional debates in recent history: the Voice to Parliament referendum.

Moderated by Dr Katrina Stratton MLA, the panel will include Kyra Galante, a Guburn (Kupurn) woman with 20+ years' experience delivering Indigenous community engagement, recruitment and mentoring strategies in civil construction and mining, and Jesse Fleay, a Noongar writer and research specialist. The panel will discuss the historical context, legal implications, and, most importantly, the societal significance of the referendum.

This event provides an opportunity to engage with experts, ask questions, and contribute to the broader conversation surrounding constitutional recognition.

Register now to join this exploration of the potential for positive change and the transformative power of an inclusive and representative Voice to Parliament.
