A Night Of Shorts

A Night Of Shorts is set to showcase around five to a dozen high-quality short films (one may even be a surprise entry) made by local filmmakers here in South Australia. Join cast and crew in celebrating our respective achievements and be ensured a night of fun and entertainment. The event will consist of Carolyn Corkindale's "Future Harvest", a quickie with its own dark take on the current drought issues. Robyn Ravenna's "Heaven's Bridge", a film that deals with grief and loss in an interesting way, as well as Justin Wiggin's "The Sardonic Smile", which sees hikers recall their dealings with a malevolent force while out on a popular trail. Following will be "The Ton", a cricket-themed short from Simon Tait that centers around an older couple nearing the end of their lives, and lastly, Adam Weber's Crime/Comedy "The Body" where the burying of a body becomes far more complicated than first anticipated.
