There are numerous ruins of Isis temples and through the centuries, communities of Druids, Essenes, Cathars, Knights Templar and seers. The energies upwell like a river and snake across this land, creating powerful convergences. The wisdom of Sophia and Magdalene still resonates through this land today.

Tales abound in southern France of Mary Magdalene fleeing the Holy Land after the resurrection and beginning her ministry here in Occitanie, teaching and baptising, sharing the true gospel.

This land holds the memory of ceremony, communion with star beings and the great earth mother, rites of purification and baptism in the living waters of the rivers and springs, of initiations in caves.

Following the path of the Magdalene, the places where she lived and taught, is an awakening, a holy transmission.

Beloveds, join me for an evening sharing stories of Magdalene’s journey in Occitanie, following her from her boat landing, through caves, Isis and Solar temples and the living waters of the rivers. With meditations, evocative slide images, somatic expression, feasting and love, of course. Always, with much love and joy!

Jacqui Bushell has been dancing with the mythic imagination and the sacred feminine for much of her life, through her love of the wisdom held in fairy tales and her work as a spiritual herbalist listening for the voices and stories in the land. As a writer and speaker, she is passionate about encouraging others to explore their own mythology at the borderlands of psyche, body, culture and landscape. She has been facilitating women’s circles, ceremonies, retreats, workshops and courses in Australia and internationally for 30 years.

She has been journeying to and exploring southern France, learning from the Magdalene energies for many years, tracing the energy lines and walking the hiddden paths through forests and mountains. Jacqui and sound channel Jane Elworthy have been offering Magdalene Retreats in this area since 2015.
