Pine Rivers Private is here to support your patients and will also be presenting an education session for Mental Health in the community setting.
At this dinner event, GPs will be provided with information on PTSD - its presentation across ages and population, diagnosis and treatment in a primary care setting.
in part two of the session the presentation will tackle General Practice challenges by exploring the causes of emotional dysregulation and offering verbal techniques to strengthen patient alliances and enhance medication adherence.
Learning outcomes to be achieved;
- Increase awareness of the different presentations of PTSD in the primary care setting.
- Identify the PTSD symptoms that can occur across different age groups and populations.
- Develop a management pathway for PTSD.
- Acquire skills in the early detection of subtle stress signals, employing targeted communication to alleviate tension before escalations, and implementing self-regulation practices for trauma support
- Enhance patient engagement and therapeutic outcomes in GP practice by applying underutilized theories and evidence-based practices that are at once face-preserving
2.5 CPD Educational Activity (EA) hours, along with 2 hrs Reviewing Performance.
