A Class for Pregnant Women with Diabetes - Prepare for Breastfeeding

Held fortnightly on a Tuesday 2-3pm a Lactation Consultant from the Breastfeeding Centre of WA based at King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women will present an online class aimed at women with Diabetes.

Topics covered include:

* How to hand express

* When antenal collection of colostrum should be considered

* How to collect and store colostrum when pregnant

* When to avoid hand expressing

* What is a Vulnerable baby and the implications for mothers with Diabetes
