Do you have an excess of fruit and vegetables from your garden and are not sure what to do with your produce? Or perhaps you would like to reduce your food waste, or learn new skills?

Amy is a self taught food preserver who learnt the skill of preserving out of necessity, harvesting over half a tonne of produce from her home garden. She has a passion for all things growing, cooking, preserving and creating – embracing the skills of generations past and doing things the old-fashioned way.

This instructional workshop is geared towards those new to food preserving. Amy will provide insight into different methods of food preserving, as well as tips and tricks to get you started on your preserving journey.

Bookings are essential for this free event. Light refreshments will be available. We suggest you bring your own keep-cup or mug for tea, coffee or water.

Please advise us if you have any accessibility requirements.
