NEW NOW is an all-ages alcohol-free gig series programmed by the MusicNSW Young People Committee featuring the best emerging talent from NSW and beyond.

This month's New Now all-ages rager is all-ages on both sides of the microphone with Northern Beaches adrenaline cowboys Crocodylus hitting the stage with support from two under-18 young gun acts piew piew!

It'll be Carey St bringing the indie heat from the east and Western Sydney psych-rock upstarts Children of the Sun warming things up before Crocodylus rip thru the place like a crocnado!

This event takes place on the stolen land of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation. We extend our heartfelt respect to elders past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be.

Back for its second year, NEW NOW will continue to provide a space for young people to feel the electric charge of a live performance, the thrill of independence and discovery that comes with it, and the spark of connection that will keep them invested in live music for life.

Far from just putting on some rad shows, NEW NOW aims to be a catalyst for the emergence of a vibrant all-ages gig going culture in which venues and promoters prioritise all-ages shows. Giving young people more opportunities to experience music in person is the best way to ensure that seeking out and supporting live music becomes a value that defines the cultural life of our state again.
