Breach Point by Beaten ZoneCome join us at the Shipwright Arms Hotel for an informative session with a wide variety of experts and participants about entering the US defence market. A panel discussion hosted by<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/steve-baxter-021448/" title="https://www.linkedin.com/in/steve-baxter-021448/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Steve Baxter</a> from<a href="https://www.beatenzone.vc/" title="https://www.beatenzone.vc/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Beaten Zone Ventures</a>, along with others (TBA) and more to be announced, to talk about the various ways, pitfalls, lessons learnt and success paths into the US DoD market. The US DoD budget is US$870B compared to US$32B for the Australian DoD budget. Even if the Australian DoD was the perfect customer, a much larger Allied market exists and the reality is, that generally the fastest way to get technology into the hands of ADF Warfigters, is to sell it to the US DoD, then for it to come back here through FMS or direct sale from a US Vendor. The US has more than <a href="https://www.google.com/search?q=how+many+tax+jurisdictions+are+there+in+the+us&amp;rlz=1C1GCEU_en&amp;oq=how+many+taxation+jurisdictions" title="https://www.google.com/search?q=how+many+tax+jurisdictions+are+there+in+the+us&amp;rlz=1C1GCEU_en&amp;oq=how+many+taxation+jurisdictions" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">12,000 taxation jurisdictions</a> and is a free market economy with very little in common to our home market. This session is all about sharing how to start to think about this market, the terms, terminology, timeframes, methodsa and more about success in the US.
