<h1>Bushfire Film Double Feature Fundraiser</h1><h3>6:30pm ‘The Lorax’ Senior Campus Hall </h3><h3>8pm ‘2040’ Senior Campus Outdoor Cinema (on the grass behind Senior Homestead)</h3><h2>The Lorax: </h2><p>Twelve-year-old Ted lives in a place virtually devoid of nature; no flowers or trees grow in the town of Thneedville. Ted would very much like to win the heart of Audrey, the girl of his dreams, but to do this, he must find that which she most desires: a Truffula tree. To get it, Ted delves into the story of the Lorax, once the gruff guardian of the forest, and the Once-ler, who let greed overtake his respect for nature. </p><h2>2040: </h2><p>Concerned about his young daughter's future, filmmaker Damon Gameau travels the world in search of new approaches and solutions to climate change. He meets with innovators and changemakers in many fields to draw on their expertise.</p><ul><li>BYO picnic &amp; Non-alcoholic Drinks – BYO blankets and chairs…</li><li>(no pets or beanbags please) </li></ul><h3>Entry via donation to our supported bushfire charities.Donations made on the night will go to: </h3><h3><strong></strong><a href="https://donate.zoo.org.au/donation" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zoos Victoria Bushfire Emergency Wildlife Fund</a></h3><p>This fund will help fund emergency veterinary assistance and scientific intervention following the bushfire crisis. </p><h3><a href="https://blazeaid.com.au/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">BlazeAid</a> </h3><p>BlazeAid are a volunteer-based organisation that work with families and individuals in rural Australia after natural disasters such as fires and floods. Working alongside the rural families, BlazeAid volunteers help to rebuild fences and other structures that have been damaged or destroyed.</p>
