90-day Planning Session

The 90-day Planning Session is a working day to step out of the day-to-day, review what happened in 2026 and turn that into a focused plan for the first 90 days of 2027.

You'll work through the year that's been before jumping into the year ahead.

What you'll work on

Review 2026 properly

• Identify your biggest wins and what made them important
• Look at the challenges you faced and what you learned from them
• Identify what you were not able to accomplish
• Review the decisions, risks and experiences that shaped the year
• Capture the moments and achievements you want to carry forward

Decide what you want from the business

You'll work through what your ideal business looks like across:

• Income
• Freedom
• Scale
• Your role in the business
• The projects you want to spend your time on

This gives you a bigger picture to work from before deciding what belongs in the next 90 days.

Choose what needs attention

You'll map the business projects and areas you want to work on, including the things already in motion and the projects you'd like to add.

You'll also look at the skills and leadership areas that need development, from decision-making and time management through to follow-through, communication and motivating others.

Build your first 90 days of 2027

The final step is bringing the bigger picture back to the next quarter.

You'll decide:

• What needs to move first
• Which projects deserve attention
• What you need to stop carrying forward
• Which leadership areas need work
• What actions need to happen once you return to the business
