Learn your Queen’s Gambit from your Sicilian Defence at our after-school workshop series, taught by instructors from the Sydney Academy of Chess.
This five-week series will cover the basics of chess from the names of pieces through to common strategies and clever tricks to ensnare your opponents.
Participants get a chance to work as a group to outwit the instructor, as well as playing one-on-one games with other students to hone their skills, with tips from an expert instructor as they go.
