PSIKEA: Extending the SensoriumPresented by Anna Conrick. Spatial Designer and Design Researcher.How can we challenge the normative standards of our built environment in order to activate sensitivities and attune to the reciprocal relationships that exist between people and space?Through processes of physical experimentation and playful co-making, this workshop utilises everyday materials and objects sourced from ubiquitous home furnishing giant Ikea to create Playful Spatial Installations which explore and alter relationships between the body and the built environment.Melbourne Design Week and the Victorian Design Program are initiatives of the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria. designweek.melbourne
