UNSW Galleries stands on an important place of learning and exchange first occupied by the Bidjigal and Gadigal peoples. It brings together the work of leading Australian and international practitioners, curators, and writers working in the fields of contemporary art and design. UNSW Galleries is a space for the presentation and interpretation of contemporary visual and material culture, and a site for gathering and conversation. The program stresses the importance of learning through exhibition-making, using integrated projects and events across the year to engage audiences in conversation with commentators from a range of disciplines.

Enjoy music by DJ Gemma and catering by <a href="https://www.instagram.com/sahtein_lebanesefeasts/" title="https://www.instagram.com/sahtein_lebanesefeasts/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sahtein Lebanese Feasts</a>.The 24th Biennale of Sydney works across time periods, beyond the borders separating cultural practices rooted in different genealogies, and from all continents. The exhibition owes a profound debt to the rich heritage of what is known today as Australia, especially to the struggles and practices in which First Nations communities and migrants have faced and played key roles. This edition revisits legacies of collective resistance, strength, and exuberance, embracing a more hopeful and joyful outlook, while celebrating the exhibition as a carnival of rays and radiance, aptly titled ‘Ten Thousand Suns’.—Located at the entrance to the UNSW Art &amp; Design campus in Paddington, <a href="https://www.artdesign.unsw.edu.au/unsw-galleries/about" title="https://www.artdesign.unsw.edu.au/unsw-galleries/about" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">UNSW Galleries</a> is just 5 minutes from Sydney's CBD. The gallery is fully accessible, welcoming guests with wheelchairs and prams. Find us on the ground level of F Block, next to the Arthouse Kitchen café. Elevator access is available for the upper level, ask our friendly staff at reception to assist with directions and access.
