The Scribblers Family Festival is a joyous two-day festival, bringing together some of the best children’s and YA creatives from Australia and beyond. It’s packed with storytelling, art, workshops, and creativity galore.

Join award winning author and illustrator Sean E Avery for a comic making workshop inspired by his new graphic novel series Friendly Bee and Friends. In this interactive workshop, kids will be led through the process of making their very own mini comics. They will learn about character development, story structure and pacing, comic lettering and panelling, and tips for self-publishing. T﻿his workshop is best suited for children 7-10 and their grown-ups. Please note that all children aged must be accompanied by a guardian. Each ticket includes entry for one child and their guardian.
