2023 Team La Trobe Walk & Run
The FREE in-person Team La Trobe Walk & Run on Tuesday 5 September is the major event in the La Trobe Sport Moving for Mental Health initiative. A Health based initiative aimed at the La Trobe community to raise awareness and funds for Mental Health as well as spread the benefits of movement for mental health throughout our community. The Team La Trobe Walk & Run will have two events at both the Melbourne and Bendigo Campuses, but will also be available for participants from other La Trobe campuses via the virtual walk or run on the online event hub.
Participants at both on campus events will have the option of taking part in two distances 2.5km or 5km around La Trobe’s picturesque campus surrounds.
To encourage participation, connection and bring a visual presence to campus, those that register and participate will receive a FREE Team La Trobe event pack*, including event entry at either the Melbourne or Bendigo event, Team La Trobe merchandise, and access to the virtual event hub. Those who register before 29 August and attend go into draw to win a prize up to the value of $500*, while prizes for teams with the most participant/funds raised and random spot prizes will also be awarded on the day.
There will also be Event Hubs at Bundoora and Bendigo that will include free food, drinks and entertainment.

Team La Trobe merchandise packs are limited. While stocks last and only available to those of register before 1 September.
Team Prizes may include largest team, most fund raised, combination of both and random participation. Team representatives must attend.
Early Bird Registration Prize, entrants that register before Sunday 20 August and attend go into a random draw to win a to be confirmed prize up to the value of $500. Must attend event to claim prize. 2 winners.
Participation Prize, announced on event day, a minimum one participant drawn at random will win further Team La Trobe merchandise.
