What do I bring?

Nothing.  All materials will be supplied on the day.  There is an option to buy your own markers to use on the day but this is not necessary, just bring yourself.

Question 2

Do I need to have any prior experience or knowledge of fashion design or illustration?

Accepted Answer

No, absolutely not.  This is your chance to learn these skills and have fun illustrating.  This workshop is not about how good you can draw, but about absorbing all of the information and practising the demonstrated techniques to build your confidence.  Kim will offer guidance and advice throughout.

Question 3

Will I be able to illustrate?

Accepted Answer

Absolutley!  We will trace off a fashion template, easy! Then Kim will show you how to draw garments onto the template.  Then you will learn how to render the garments to make them look realistic.  You will be supported every step of the way, so don't be worried about anything.

Question 4

What if I've booked a ticket but I can't make it after all?

Accepted Answer

You can transfer your ticket to a friend.  Email Kim at info@eastofgrey.com.au

Will I enjoy myself?

Accepted Answer

We are going to have so much fun learning new skills, or refining already learnt skills.  Think about a kid in a candy shop...that will be you.
