Sacred Currents Inc is an initiative of Richard Petkovic (Cultural Arts Collective) and aims to produce arts and cultural projects that facilitate a shared experience that transcends difference and creates community.Richard initiated the Sydney Sacred Music Festival (and now C﻿ulture X Festival)  in 2011 to provide an opportunity to:Create ‘new work’ - cross culture and faithShowcase the hidden treasures in our diverse communitiesCreate interesting events in unique spacesIn 2014, Sacred Currents was established to create a  Western Sydney organisation that can take this initiative into the future and become a force for innovation and inclusion.

C﻿ulture X Ashfield is a 3 day Festival HUB from 8-10 Sept 2023 at Pratten Park AshfieldNO House Concerts - Thirning Villa - Pratten ParkAn intimate opportunity to see and hear music from our recently arrived refugee communities in partnership with the Refugee Art Project at the Artists in Residence Gallery. 1.15pm - Alice Kswani and Hekmat Homsi (Syria) - Voice and video
2pm 	- Veli Toprak (Kurdish) - Baglama and Voice
2.45pm - Zuhir Naji (Syrian) - Oud and vocal
3.30pm – Discussion – facilitated by Refugee Art Project
4pm -	 End
