Create NSW is the NSW Government’s Office of Arts, Screen and Culture. We advise, engage and invest to develop and support the arts and screen sector.Create NSW was formed in April 2017 as a consolidated agency to replace Arts NSW and Screen NSW. We work closely with the state's major cultural institutions and significant cultural organisations to champion the success and future of arts, screen and culture for NSW.

The NSW Government is working towards the state’s first Arts, Culture &amp; Creative Industries Policy and we want to engage with you – first Storytellers, First Nations Cultural Practitioners and organisations – in person. Join us as we hold a dedicated First Nations consultation, where you can engage in the discussion with industry experts and the Create NSW team in a culturally safe space. It&#x27;s your opportunity to ask questions and contribute to shaping the new arts, culture and creative industries policy for NSW. NSW needs an inclusive, sustainable and ambitious approach to arts and culture. Given its economic importance, we must now include the creative industries. The Federal Government’s National Cultural Policy, Revive, provides an ideal starting point for NSW. Registration is encouraged and the sessions will be recorded and documented to capture the discussion, comments and public feedback.Create NSW acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which this event will take place.
