WINNER OF THEEDUCATORS SA (FORMERLY CEASA) INNOVATION ASSOCIATION OF THE YEAR!This is a network for all Highly Accomplished and Lead Teachers (HALTS) , aspiring HALTs , leaders, Assessors and HALT alumni holding teacher registration across any education sector in any South Australia.The network provides professional learning enabling teachers to achieve their potential as exemplary educators.The  SA HALT Network (formerly known as the Lead Teacher Association South Australia Inc..) was established in 2011 for teacher leaders and aspirants in all sectors of education in South Australia.The network aims to advance the expertise and professionalism of educators in South Australia by:Providing opportunities for HALTs, aspiring HALTS, HALT alumni, assessors and leaders to advance expertise in the classroomProviding training and support for members to enable them to lead from the classroomProviding training and support for leaders to enable them to support expert practitioners in the school, pre-school and beyondProviding opportunities for members and associate members to join together to learn, innovate and develop shared understandings of the value of HALTs in schools and pre-schoolsThe Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and the National Certification for Highly Accomplished and Lead Teachers, offer a real opportunity to improve the status of the teaching profession by recognising the skills and qualities of exemplary teachers. The SA HALT Network is a professional and valuable resource for all teachers from all sectors of education in South Australia.

The themes for this year's conference is connect, collaborate, and cultivate.

Westminster School

K﻿eynote speaker- Ben Calleja from Growth Coaching International. Ben will be speaking about the importance of coaching conversations in educational and how to maximise our opportunities.Masterclasses- three masterclasses will be run simultaneously, and you can attend two of these.1﻿. Ben Calleja- Ben will conduct a coaching session so you can see how it can operate.2﻿. Dr Nick Jackson - Nick will discuss generative A.I and it's use in teaching and learning.3﻿. Angela Phillips - Angela will unpack the cross-school instruction coaching model and provide you with useful take aways for your own setting.Provocations- three will be run simultaneously, and you can attend two of these.1﻿. Andrea Sherwood on the 4Cs - communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creative thinking.2﻿. Rachel Abercrombie on mentoring pre-service teachers.3﻿. Elizabeth Gary-Smith - using the classroom practice continuum across your school.4﻿. Writer's workshops for those aspiring HALTs who have started work on their portfolios of evidence.S﻿harespaces- a range of sessions run by our very own HALTs. You will be able to choose 2 of these.Networking - before dinner there will be an opportunity to network with others.Dinner with our guest speaker, Dr Nick Jackson, who will speak more on generative A.I. and its potential in schools.
