The Victorian Institute of Teaching is inviting stakeholders to attend a workshop in Regional Victoria as part of the Code of Conduct review

VIT is currently undertaking a review of the Victorian Teaching Profession’s Code of Conduct (the Code). We are inviting teachers, Principals, parents, students and other interested community members and key stakeholders to attend one of VIT's regional workshops to provide their feedback on the Code. The Code is an important document for teachers and the community in identifying what is considered acceptable professional and personal conduct by registered teachers. The Code plays an integral part in supporting VIT’s vision for all Victorian children and young people to have the best teachers. VIT understands the important role that rural, remote and regional teachers play in our education system and understand the complexities of negotiating professional boundaries in the regional context.
