Studio Gallery works with a diverse and relevant collective of artists ranging from emerging through to advanced career stages. Our galleries are situated in the heart of Armadale, a converted warehouse in Cheltenham and our first Sydney gallery is located in the former headquarters of Fratelli Fresh and Danks Street Produce Merchants in Waterloo, offering an expansive exhibition space. We’re focused on delivering thought provoking, dynamic works to an ever increasing collector base as well as continuing our engagement with a global audience via digital platforms.

It is with great pleasure that Studio Gallery presents the works of Clare Brodie for her Solo Exhibition &#x27;Moon In Waiting&#x27;We invite you to join us on opening night for celebratory drinks and an intimate talk with the Clare.Opening Night | 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Friday 9th JuneLocation | Studio Gallery, 7D Wandoo St, Fortitude ValleyExhibition | 9th June - 23rd June*Artist Talk will commence 7pm“…infinite, expansive... like tides pulled by the moon, uncommon energies - the intertwining of creativity and transcendence.”A wonderfully evocative quote from Jennifer Higgie&#x27;s latest book ‘The Other Side’, referencing ‘Oceanic States’, a term used by Freud to describe the mystical experiences of the preverbal stage of development. It is a fitting sentiment for this body of work, born from a holiday on Jerrinja Wandi Wandian Country, Lake Culburra.&#x27;Words fail to do justice to the mystical energy circulating through the landscape at the time when the evening sun sets to reveal the waiting moon. Thus I borrow the captivating vertical rhythm of the trees, to cinematically unfold the changing light on bush views that lead unfailingly through to the ocean. These delightfully framed moments of the landscape&#x27;s splendour draws me into a state of magnificent common energy, rendering in me a conscious calm where my beliefs and art befittingly merge&#x27;.
