If the weather is really bad, we will give you as much notice as possible and reschedule the event. In this case we'll offer you the choice of a refund or to move your ticket to the next event.

Q: What if I can't make it?

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the event will be fully refundable. Any cancellations made within 48 hours of the event will not be refundable. If you can't make it, you could consider paying your ticket forward to someone who wants to come instead!

We love to help you create genuine connections and grow your social skills without the crutch of alcohol. Whilst a stiff drink can help with the nerves, you'll find this event super welcoming, relaxing and the perfect place to practice connecting without the liquid confidence or next day hangxiety!

Q: Why does it cost $59 for a picnic?

This is a professionally set up picnic with tables, cushions, rugs and beautiful decor organised by The Picnic Co. Your ticket includes a premium grazing board and non-alcoholic drinks and your tables will be carefully curated, along with tailored conversation cards for a truly unique experience!

How does it work?

Accepted Answer

Come solo or bring a friend and we'll get you chatting with likeminded people. Round 1 will be seated with your curated group of new friends where we have tailored conversation cards. Round 2 is similar, except you can choose your own group, then we can all mingle afterwards!

What kinds of people come to these events?

The common theme is people in their 20/30s who want meaningful friendships and who are tired of all the superficial/partying acquaintances. They love to chat about deeper conversation topics and are more active and adventurous, and willing to step a little out of their comfort zone

How will I know what to talk about?

We will give you lots of questions/prompts throughout the night if you're feeling stuck - but most of the time it's super easy just to chat to people because everyone is there for the same reason! You'll be surprised how friendly everyone is and how easy it is to chat to them.

What if I'm socially anxious/introverted?

That's okay! We totally understand it's scary meeting new people - even as seasoned hosts we still get nervous! It helps to know everyone is in the same boat and feeling those nerves, but we promise they fade quickly in this beautiful, welcoming environment. Our hosts will help you out too :)

Can I come to this if I don't know anyone?

ABSOLUTELY! We would love for you to come alone - this way you'll get to meet so many people and push yourself out of your comfort zone. It's the best possible place for you to do this - that's what this event is all about. See you there <3
