An intuitive opportunity reflect on 2023 for IBPOC, fat, disabled and/or LGBTIQ+ folk. Featuring guest facilitator Korra.

ArtKind

A meeting practice to process 2023, and build community. Will include gentle mindfulness, spiritual card reads, conversation and optional writing. This session is only for First Nations folk and People of Colour, and non-POC fat, disabled and/or LGBTIQ+ folk. Light snacks and chai provided. This session will centre discussions around dreaming and imagination with guest facilitator Korra Koperu.Korra Koperu is a Aboriginal, Māori and Moriori Gender Diverse young person. They&#x27;ve spent their time advocating for TGNB youth and is passionate about the QTIPoC community. Other things Korra is passionate about is connecting with their culture and de-colonisation. They’ve been volunteering in the community sector since they were 13, doing a lot of work like panels, activism within spaces, talking at rallies but has moved on to more creative pathways, like makeup.Folks are welcome to bring their own interpretor as required. The ArtKind space on 420 Brunswick Street is wheelchair accessible, and contains bathrooms with access features. The event will be low sensory. Any access needs, please DM or email naavikaran@outlook.comRegistration is important, very limited spots. All ticket prices are tiered, and a suggested amount is $45 per person. We are meeting and organising on stolen, sovreign Aboriginal land. We acknowledge the Wurrundjeri and Boon Warrung people of Kulin Nation as the true custodians of the land. This always was and always will, Aboriginal land.
