Lin is a Psychologist, OD consultant and mental health first aid trainer who work with adolescents, adults, couples, and organisations. She has a Bachelor and Master in Applied Psychology. Currently, Lin is registered with Psychology Board of Australia, and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

What is Mental Health First Aid Course? This is an accredited 2-day face-to-face mental health training course to equip you with the understanding, skills, and confidence to recognise, communicate, and respond to co-workers, family, and friends experiencing mental health problems or crises. What will you learn from this course?You will learn from a Registered Psychologist to recognise the signs and symptoms of mental health problems, and safer ways to approach and initiate conversations to support those who are experiencing distress using a practical and evidence-based action plan. Mental Health Challenges:<ul><li>Depression </li><li>Anxiety </li><li>Alcohol and drug concerns </li><li>Psychosis </li><li>Suicidal thoughts &amp; behaviours </li><li>Aggressive behaviours </li></ul>This course is not a group therapy or mental health support group. This is an education course to learn how to provide mental health first aid to other people experiencing mental health problems or distress. Become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider Participants who complete this course are eligible to complete an online Accreditation assessment in order to receive a Mental Health Aider Certificate of Accreditation from Mental Health First Aid Australia. This accreditation is valid for 3 years. <ul></ul>
