PRESENTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE EMBASSY OF CROATIAFOLLOWED BY Q&amp;A WITH PETER PECOTIĆ AND JOSEPH WILLIAMSArmed only with a campervan, smart phone and a drone, Peter Pecotić heads into the Outback on a 10,000 kilometre road trip, retracing his late immigrant father’s footsteps and hoping to locate the descendants of those travelled to Australia from the tiny Croatian island of Korčula in the 1950s. His mission takes an unexpected turn in remote desert country, where he meets Warumungu artist Joseph Williams, whose unknown father was also a migrant. Through their growing friendship, they soon discover the living history of each other’s ancestry, reigniting connections along the way and discovering just how much First Nations and immigrant Australian communities have in common.
