Calling all the crackerjacks, amateurs, and those just wanting a fun night out bowling barefoot style!

Cutheringa Bowls Club

NOTE: This event is only for Australian Defence Force members and their families.Couples and singles, empty-nesters and other adult family members are invited to join us at another one of our Tropical Friday Barefoot Bowling fun night out! This is a child-free evening.Complimentary bowling followed by a light BBQ for dinner, as well as full facilities are available at the Bowls Club. Enjoy a social evening with free Barefoot Bowling and BBQ. Cutheringa Bowls Club at West End will provide all bowls equipment as well as demonstrations for anyone who hasn’t played before. While the name of the game is barefoot bowls, socks / thongs / completely flat soled shoes are permitted on the green. While we’d love to see your brightest tropical themed outfits, please keep in mind that the bowls club dress rules require neat casual clothing and no singlets.There is plenty of parking at the premises.Important ticketing information:•	Tickets to this event are essential and are limited so book now! •	Registration closes Thursday 11 May 2023 at 11:00 p.m. unless sold out prior.•	When registering for a ticket, please ensure you provide your best contact details.•	If you are feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms on the day please stay at home. •	Ensure that the email address you register with is accurate as you will receive your booking confirmation, and any additional information or changes to the event, by email. •	If you have any mobility requirements, please call the DMFS Townsville team on 4430 3879 or send us an email: dmfs.townsville@defence.gov.au •	If you become unable to attend the event, please cancel your booking by clicking on the link in your confirmation email ‘View and manage your order online’. This takes you to your ‘Tickets’ page where you can choose the ‘Cancel my Order’ option to release the tickets back to the event listingPhotography and Social Media:•	Photographs will be taken at all DMFS events. Please let our staff know if you do not want to be photographed. Photos may be used on our social media channels or in a DMFS publication.Cancellation or Postponement:•	This event will be cancelled or postponed if a severe weather event threatened eg: heavy rain, severe storms, electrical storms or cyclone.
